ITRS Group Announces Major Shift in Management Team

Terrebonne, QC: ITRS Group announced a business structure for their management team. The former President, Gilles Wauthy, will now move into a more strategic role as the Chairman of the Board for the ITRS Group and also President and CEO of ITRS Chile SpA. Gabriel Boutet is now the President and CEO of ITRS (International Tire Repair Solutions Inc.) David Dandeneault becomes President and CEO for Vulcan-Vulcap Inc. Jean-Félix Lavallée is now President and CEO for Transit ITRS Inc. and will also take on the role of Operations Manager for the entire ITRS Group (ITRS, Vulcan, and Transit).

This shift will allow the ITRS Group to maximize each others’ strengths and continue to work together as they collectively bring new visions and innovation to the tire repair industry.

“It’s been a long time in the making, and realistically, we’ve been operating this way for a little while. It was time to make it official. These young men will be huge assets to an industry so ripe for increased popularity.” says Gilles Wauthy, Chairman of the Board of the ITRS Group.

International Tire Repair Solutions has been in operation since 2007 and was acquired by Gilles Wauthy in 2012. He later welcomed his partners, David Dandeneault, Gabriel Boutet, and Jean-Félix Lavallée, and today, they focus on growing the training center and certification program available worldwide. They have created a veritable one-stop-shop destination where they manage absolutely all learning and certification needs and offer anything and everything customers need for tyre repairs, section repair, retreading, etc. Over the years, they have acquired a specialization within the mining sector and have developed products specifically adapted to their oversized reality and specificity. Canadian tyre repair specialists ITRS have announced the establishment of a permanent representation in Chile and the possible development of a Chilean subsidiary to be added to their Latin American roster; Jonathon Orellana is to lead the Chilean and surrounding countries’ market development as ITRS’s new technical advisor.



ITRS Acquires Vulcan-Vulcap

International Tire Repair Solutions (ITRS), the Toronto based distributor of tyre repair materials, has announced the acquisition of Vulcan-Vulcap, the long-standing tyre repair and retread equipment manufacturer based in Scarborough, Ontario. Vulcan-Vulcap specialises in a range of heavy duty vulcanising equipment including section repair moulds, C clamps, spotters, retreading equipment and the Vulcaflex OTR system.
